DHA was established in 1988 following passage of the Defence Housing Australia Act 1987 (DHA Act) to provide adequate and suitable housing for, and housing related services to, members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families. We remain committed to our purpose of providing housing, and housing related services, to ADF members and their families to support Defence’s operational needs.
DHA manages an expanding portfolio of housing solutions and provides housing for over 17,200 ADF members and their families and administers rent allowance for more than 16,000 ADF members and their families in private rental accommodation. DHA provides housing related services advising on eligibility, providing posting support, and managing bookings and allocation services for all DHA provisioned housing and on-base accommodation to approximately 60,000 ADF members.

About your team
The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is located within the Strategy and Engagement branch of the Strategy & Transformation Group. The Strategy & Transformation Group is responsible for guiding and implementing DHA’s strategic objectives, including its transformation agenda and stakeholder relationships. The Strategy and Engagement branch is responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of DHA’s strategic objectives and partnerships, measuring effective performance and business transformation.
Specifically, the EPMO supports DHA to achieve its strategic goals. Through structured methodologies and dedicated resources, the EPMO ensures project alignment with corporate priorities to drive successful organisational outcomes. Key responsibilities of the EPMO include project evaluation, oversight and accountability across initiatives, benefits tracking and specialised project delivery.
About the roles
EPMO Project Delivery Officer (DHA Level 5)
The EPMO Project Delivery Officer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of DHA’s strategic, operational and transformation initiatives. Working closely with Project Delivery Managers, Coordinators and a range of business and technology stakeholders, you will provide project administration, research, analysis and reporting support across multiple projects and programs. You will assist with project planning, governance, process improvement, workshops, testing and implementation activities, while maintaining project documentation and records, preparing communications and briefing materials, and contributing to the effective application of DHA’s project management framework to deliver business outcomes.
EPMO Project Delivery Coordinator (DHA Level 6)
The EPMO Project Delivery Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of DHA’s strategic and operational projects. Working within the Enterprise Project Management Office, you will coordinate project activities, support governance and reporting, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse portfolio of business and technology projects. You will work closely with Project Delivery Managers, business stakeholders and BS&T teams to manage project documentation, lead workshops, analyse project information, support testing and implementation activities, and provide leadership and mentoring to Project Delivery Officers, helping drive project outcomes and organisational change.
