DHA was established in 1988 following passage of the Defence Housing Australia Act 1987 (DHA Act) to provide adequate and suitable housing for, and housing related services to, members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families. We remain committed to our purpose of providing housing, and housing related services, to ADF members and their families to support Defence’s operational needs.
DHA manages an expanding portfolio of housing solutions and provides housing for over 17,200 ADF members and their families and administers rent allowance for more than 16,000 ADF members and their families in private rental accommodation. DHA provides housing related services advising on eligibility, providing posting support, and managing bookings and allocation services for all DHA provisioned housing and on-base accommodation to approximately 60,000 ADF members.

About your team
Business Solutions & Technology are responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, in-house software development, telephony, IT Services and Infrastructure. We deliver business as usual activities and innovation driven initiatives that provide efficiencies to the broader organisation. This role reports to the Modernisation and Improvement Program Manager within Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T).
Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T) team has redesigned its operating model to partner with our business stakeholders to deliver a Modernisation & Improvement program.
About the role
The Technology Group Project Coordinator will provide implementation support and administration to several concurrent projects. Reporting to the Modernisation & Improvement Program Manager and in line with DHA strategic objectives, the Technology Group Project Coordinator has the following key responsibilities:
- Working under limited direction, support the implementation of BS&T’s infrastructure and business transformation projects by assisting the ICT Project Managers and Program Managers to develop project documentation and communications
- Assist Program Managers with the creation of regular program reports to the Executive and various IT Steering Committees, including ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Provide secretariat support to projects, including preparing agendas, presentation materials and recording and distributing minutes, and project reporting and documentation
- Responsible for coordinating competing requests and demands, setting priorities and managing the workflow for immediate work area
- Lead minor threshold projects and support workforce planning, as directed.
