About us
Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is a Government Business Enterprise (GBE) responsible for providing housing and related services to Defence members and their families. DHA manages one of Australia’s largest national housing portfolios of approximately 17,000 properties and currently has opportunities for client focussed outcome driven people to join the Property Manager team.
About the role
Property Managers are the customer service face of DHA. They perform a critical role in directly supporting ADF families transitioning between locations and during their tenancy. Our skilled team of Property Managers ensure properties are well maintained, members are satisfied, and investments are optimised. The team enjoy a unique blend of office and field work, including property inspections, maintenance allocation and management of customer enquiries. Our Property Managers are supported by technical experts who can advise on complex building issues and preparation of scopes.
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on outcomes.
- Great organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure in the field.
- Experience in customer service or property management roles.
- Valid Driver’s licence
