Defence Housing Australia (DHA) provides quality housing services to Defence members and their families. In doing this, we support the operational, recruitment and retention goals of the Department of Defence.

The contact centre is responsible for management of housing services including setting the agenda for customer service and innovation, compliance and monitoring, application of policy, development and delivery of training. 

As a Housing Consultant, you are responsible for providing Defence members with an appropriate housing solution that is consistent with their entitlement as established by Defence policies and guidelines. This role provides members with information about properties and amenities to support their decision-making with relation to housing options.

You will work in a time-critical environment and there is a strong emphasis on the achievement of established performance standards within set timeframes.

This is a full-time position.  The successful applicant will be expected to work during the peak posting period between November and March. The contact centre‚Äôs core business hours are between 7:30am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday including Public Holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work on a rotating roster. DHA operates under flexible working hours and staff may be required to work outside core business hours at times.
