About the role
As a Contact Centre Consultant at DHA, you will be responsible for the administration of complex entitlements for Defence members, coordination of tenancy services and management of lessor enquiries within articulated key performance expectations. In the course of your duties, you will communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive advice, support and resolution of issues. These positions play a critical role in DHA supporting Defence and their members and are an integral part of our operations.
Skills you need to succeed in the role:
- Experience providing exceptional customer service and delivering results
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to provide information and advice to a range of stakeholders in a timely manner
- Proven track record planning own work goals and priorities that align with team outcomes to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) targets
- Demonstrated organisational skills, sound judgment and attention to detail
- Have abilities to adapt to change in the workplace and work collaboratively as a team member.
**Please note, these roles are to be filled as non-ongoing only in a full time/part time for varying contract lengths up to 18 months.
Alternatively, these roles may be offered as non-ongoing casual employment with 25% loading in lieu of paid leave. These positions involve shift work on a rotational roster, as DHA’s Contact Centre operates 24/7.

Eligibility
Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
The successful candidate will be required obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance.
