About the Asset Management Team
The Asset Management Team (AMT) is a strategic initiative that will support DHA in continuing to be a leading service delivery organisation. The AMT will provide asset management activities, procurement and contract management that is fit-for-purpose and operationally efficient.
To enable this, DHA’s approach to asset management is changing from being largely reactive and tactical to leveraging assets as a more strategic, proactive and value adding enabler of customer and business outcomes. The Asset Management Team (AMT) will partner with DHA business units to deliver customer and commercial outcomes that are aligned to DHA’s Enterprise strategy. A focus of the AMT is to promote consistency in practices and methodologies, development of key capabilities, simplifying governance and enhanced controls to drive better commercial outcomes.
Key Functions - Asset Management Team 
Under the leadership of the Head of Strategic Asset Management (HoSAM), the AMT will be comprised of three primary functions:
  • Analytics and Scheduling: this function provides oversight and scheduling of end-to-end preventative and planned maintenance works.
  • Regional Asset Management: this function is responsible for the development and management of a Regional Portfolio Plan, leading all key decision making across the asset life cycle.
  • Asset Procurement and Contracting: this function is responsible for formal contract and procurement activities in support of strategic asset management.

  • Head of Strategic Asset Management (HoSAM) (EL2) - a critical leadership role responsible for establishing and directing a professional team to achieve corporate and strategic housing asset management priorities.
Analytics and Scheduling function
  • National Manager, Analytics and Scheduling (EL2)
  • Program Manager (EL2)
  • Senior Analyst (EL1)
  • Data Analyst (DHA6)
  • Scheduling Coordinators (DHA6)
Regional Asset Management function
  • Regional Asset Manager (EL2)
  • Assistant Regional Asset Manager (EL1)
Conditions and Benefits of the Role:
All roles advertised as part of this recruitment round are full-time, ongoing positions. DHA’s core business hours are between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. DHA operates under flexible working hours and staff may be required to work outside core business hours at times.
Your employment experience with DHA will include work-life balance and flexible working options, competitive salary and benefits (including 15.4% superannuation contributions by DHA), generous leave entitlements, career progression.
The DHA Salary Range is as follows
  • EL2: $146,800 - $180,630 *
  • EL1: $118,461 – $144,571
  • DHAL6: $96,587 - $112,189
Plus 15.4% superannuation, flexible working arrangements, and generous leave entitlements.
* In recognition of the technical expertise, responsibilities, the overall contribution expected and the work value of the positions, DHA is able to offer alternative industry competitive remuneration packages for suitably qualified candidates. This will be achieved through a negotiated individual arrangement.

This recruitment round will be broken down into 5 stages; application, phone call, virtual interview, reference check and an informal interview if required.
